Check-in begins at 5:15 P.M.

We begin promptly at 5:30 P.M. Dismissal is at 7:00 P.M.

What Happens In Our AWANA Clubs:

A Workman Approved Not Ashamed

The acronym comes from 2 Timothy 2:15, “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.”

Awana clubs teach children basic truths about God and His word with the aim of equipping them with the knowledge to face daily trials, defend their faith against false teachings, and become faithful witnesses for Christ.

Clubbers engage in game time, worship time & offering, and book time through the course of the evening.

Other Notes:

Safety in Games:

Clubbers do a lot of running, jumping, and sliding around on the floor for our games. Clubbers must wear shoes at all times for their safety. Boots, sandals, crocks, and slides can lead to unnecessary injury. Please wear tennis shoes or similar shoes that will not easily slip off or expose your child’s toes. Also, please wear shorts underneath skirts and dresses.

Personal Items:

Any electronic devices, toys, etc. become distractions from the purpose of our club meetings. Please ask your clubbers to leave these items in your vehicle or at home.  If your child needs to bring a cellphone for communication with a parent/guardian, it will be kept in a safe place where the clubber can occasionally check in. We have a special container for items that may cause a distraction. These items will be returned at the end of the evening.

Illness: 

We ask that you do not send your child if he or she has had a fever, vomiting, or other symptoms of illness within 24 hours. If your child has tested positive for the Flu, Covid, RSV or other similar illnesses, please adhere to the doctors orders and wait the suggested time before allowing them to attend club meetings.
