A Word for Today

Job 19:25-27

For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth:

And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God:

Whom I shall see for myself, and mine eyes shall behold, and not another; though my reins be consumed within me.”

King James Version (KJV)

Job did not witness any of Jesus’s miracles.

He did not have a completed Bible to provide witness accounts.

Yet he believed!

Missions

The mission of the church is to go into the world and preach the gospel to those who do not know the Word of Truth and to then disciple new Christians as they grow in the Lord.

Oak Grove Baptist Church supports 28 missionaries around the world.

Come Grow With Us

Welcome to Oak Grove Baptist Church!

We are glad that you decided to visit us here.  A little about us… Oak Grove Baptist Church began as a diverse group of people gathering on Sundays under a shady grove of oak trees to hear the gospel and worship the Lord.  On July 27, 1924, sixteen charter members brought their letters and formerly organized the church.  We are an independent baptist church standing on the Word of the Lord – the Bible.  Today, we are still growing in grace and reaching out to the community.

Our 100th Anniversary is THIS Year!

We would love to be able to share some of our church history with everyone. If you have pictures, articles, letters, or any other information and stories to share with us, please reach out. We’d love to hear from you. You are welcome to correspond with us through email, postal mail, or by dropping off items at the church. Click here for email and postal address.

 A message from our pastor…

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.  Thank you for taking time to visit our website.  We at Oak Grove Baptist Church strive to be a place where you and your family feel loved, wanted, safe, and most of all, the presence and power of the living God.  It is our prayer that everyone who attends our church will be transformed by the Gospel of Christ; and will use his or her life to bring Him glory.  If you’re ever in our area, please drop in for a visit.

His for the Harvest,

Pastor Derek Dantin
