Acts 1:7

“And he [Jesus] said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the season, which the Father hath put in his own power.”

There is great peace in simply trusting and following the Lord. We don’t have to figure it all out or understand it all. If we are living in the will of the Lord – sharing His truth and making disciples – we need not worry about the times or the seasons.

Missions

The mission of the church is to go into the world and preach the gospel to those who do not know the Word of Truth and to then disciple new Christians as they grow in the Lord.

Oak Grove Baptist Church supports 28 missionaries around the world.

Welcome to Oak Grove Baptist Church!

We are glad that you decided to visit us here.  A little about us… Oak Grove Baptist Church began as a diverse group of people gathering on Sundays under a shady grove of oak trees to hear the gospel and worship the Lord.  On July 27, 1924, sixteen charter members brought their letters and formerly organized the church.  We are an independent baptist church standing on the Word of the Lord – the Bible.  Today, we are still growing in grace and reaching out to the community.

Our 100th Anniversary is THIS Year!
